Job summary

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger, AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.

2. Construction Project Accounting

• Oversee project accounting activities and monitor the financial performance of ongoing construction and engineering projects.
• Review and monitor project progress claims, progress billing and payment certificates.
• Ensure proper tracking of project costs, including budget versus actual expenditure.
• Monitor project cash flow, outstanding payments and collection from customers.
• Oversee retention sums, variation orders and other project-related financial matters.
• Work closely with project teams, QS and relevant departments to ensure accurate project financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with managerial exposure.
