The candidate should have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and taxation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, property development, or related industry.
• Experience in project costing, project accounts, or construction-related accounting added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with accounting software.
• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial accounting, financial reporting, and preparation of full sets of accounts.
• Handle daily accounting tasks, including data entry into the computerized accounting system, preparation of debit/credit notes and journal vouchers, bank reconciliation, etc.
• Prepare quarterly management accounts and other ad hoc financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure smooth processing of payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review bills and invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, lawyers, landlords, and leasing agents.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Work closely with other departments to support the company’s financial and operational requirements.
