Wilhelmsen Ship Management in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to lead daily accounting and treasury operations, ensuring timely financial transactions. You will manage AP, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and GL activities, and oversee month-end and year-end closing with accurate reporting.

Preferred candidates hold a degree or diploma in accounting with 5+ years in accounting or finance operations, ERP proficiency, and strong English communication.

Formación

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, treasury operations and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day accounting and treasury operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and management reports; ensure compliance with standards and internal controls.
• Support statutory audits and liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive process improvements and provide finance guidance across the business.
