Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are an advantage.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or equivalent role.
• Experience in a high-volume transaction, services, technology, maritime or other operationally complex environment is advantageous.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Experience establishing or improving finance processes and implementing financial systems/ERP.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting, tax and internal control requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, collections, payments and reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure flow of financial information between finance and operations.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements; ensure financial planning.
• Establish and improve end-to-end finance processes and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax and statutory requirements; support audits.
