Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ship Management in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the GRC team with consolidation, data validation, and reporting duties. The role suits fresh graduates with a foundational understanding of accounting and a willingness to learn.

You will assist in monthly consolidation, inter-company reconciliations, rolling forecasts, and reporting standardization while developing your skills in SAP and consolidation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong MS Office skills.
• Experience with SAP or consolidation/reporting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in consolidations and verify adjustments for senior review.
• Support monthly consolidation process with data validation.
• Prepare financial reports for distribution by the GRC team.
• Help with inter-company reconciliations and reporting changes.
• Support rolling forecasts and budgeting in consolidation system.
• Handle ejournal requests and respond to routine queries.
