Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ship Management in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a motivated recent graduate to join the GRC and consolidation team. In this entry‑level role you will assist with monthly close, data validation, and preparation of financial reports under supervision.

You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, be proficient with Excel, and be open to learning SAP and consolidation systems. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or consolidation/reporting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and verifying manual consolidation adjustments.
• Support monthly consolidation process with data preparation and validation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for review by the GRC team.
• Perform basic financial data validation and variance analysis.
• Support monthly group consolidated accounts and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Respond to routine queries and assist with ejournal requests.
• Support maintenance of reporting and consolidation systems.
