Job summary

C.E Brush Manufacturing in Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Executive to support day‑to‑day finance operations across AR, AP, GL, and purchasing. You’ll also coordinate with suppliers, manage stock takes, and work closely with the warehouse to keep inventory accurate.

The role combines data entry with real accounting tasks in a hands‑on manufacturing environment. Fluency in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Around 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Understand AR, AP and GL.
• Know AutoCount Accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Able to communicate and write in Chinese, plus English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience in manufacturing, purchasing, imports or inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, debit notes and credit notes.
• Track customer payments and outstanding accounts.
• Follow up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and AR records.
• Handle supplier invoices and payments.
• Match invoices with PO/DO and supporting documents.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
• Handle day‑to‑day accounting entries in AutoCount.
• Assist with bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and accounting schedules.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist with audit, tax and management reporting as required.
• Occasionally liaise with warehouse to verify stock.
• Participate in monthly/periodic stock takes and inventory reconciliation.

We are looking for an Accounting Executive who enjoys more than just sitting behind a desk doing data entry.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll get involved in the real day‑to‑day operations of a manufacturing business from AR, AP and GL to purchasing, overseas imports, supplier coordination and stock take.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of our Finance & Accounting team and help keep the numbers and operations moving smoothly.

• Prepare invoices, debit notes and credit notes.


• Keep track of customer payments and outstanding accounts.

• Yes — occasionally you’ll need to leave the accounting desk and see what’s actually sitting in the warehouse.


• Participate in monthly and periodic stock takes.


• Compare physical stock against system records.


• Assist with inventory reconciliation and stock adjustments.


• Work together with Warehouse, Purchasing and Production to maintain accurate inventory records.

Who Are We Looking For?

You could be a great fit if you:

• Have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.


• Have around 1–3 years of relevant experience.


• Understand the basics of AR, AP and GL.


• Know how to use AutoCount Accounting.


• Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.


• Can communicate and write in Chinese, as you’ll be dealing with Mandarin‑speaking suppliers and business partners.


• Can also communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.


• Are organised and pay attention to the small details.


• Can work independently without needing someone to constantly follow up with you.


• Aren’t afraid to communicate with suppliers, colleagues and external parties.


• Can handle several things at once without losing track of what’s going on.


• Experience in a manufacturing environment, purchasing, imports or inventory is definitely a plus.
