Job summary

Fidelity Funding Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to oversee the full set of accounts and prepare management reports for timely, accurate reporting. You will supervise the Finance/Accounts team across a group of companies and provide guidance to subordinates.

The role requires a professional finance qualification or degree, strong MS Office and SQL skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. On-site work in Kepong/Ampang with potential travel is required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and SQL.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
• Willing to work on-site in Kepong/Ampang and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Reports to Director/Group Finance Head. Responsible for full set of accounts and management reports to ensure timeliness and accuracy for management reporting. Supervise Finance/Accounts team on overall daily finance and accounting activities for group of companies.

Key responsibilities

Supervise Finance/Accounts team on overall daily finance and accounting activities for group of companies

Provide guidance and support to subordinates

Manage and monitor transactions of company's account

Prepare monthly/yearly audit schedules and in charge on monthly accounts closing

Ensure proper maintenance of documentations and filing of all accounting records

Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, company secretary and other external parties to ensure compliance with matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements

Carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time

About you

Professional qualification / Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy equivalent

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and well-versed in SQL

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent (preferred)

Willing to take initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to meet tight deadline, detailed and result oriented

Experience in Fintech, Business Development or Client Servicing (preferred)

At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field

Willing to work in Kepong Baru and Ampang Park and able to travel extensively
