This role involves managing and maintaining comprehensive accounting records, preparing financial documentation, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain full sets of accounts
• Prepare payment vouchers, filing, and sub-contractors recording
• Learn about latest accounting standards and tax issues via internal training
• Enhance the updating of accounts transactions and fixed assets register
• Maintain monthly accounting records including cash book, receipt books, payment vouchers files, journals and general ledger
• Maintain all bank transactions and documents filing and reconciliation
• Maintain financial statements monthly including balance sheet and income statements
• Ensure all payment vouchers are issued promptly with due dates, especially statutory and installment payments
• Maintain sub-contractors' payment records and monthly updates with certificate filing
• Ensure proper and timely updating of all accounts payments into respective files

About you

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or LCCI Level in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or equivalent
• Preferably 3 years working experience in Finance and Accounting department in the construction industry
• Knowledgeable in e-invoicing and Accounting Software (SQL)
