Job summary

Cat Supermarket Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts & Admin Executive/Senior Executive to support accounting and administrative operations for our growing retail business. The role is hands-on, with supervision of junior staff and a focus on accuracy and compliance in financial activities.

The successful candidate will handle the full set of accounts, assist in month-end closing, and coordinate with suppliers, auditors, banks, and authorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant working experience (retail/supermarket experience preferred).
• Able to handle accounts independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
• Familiar with SQL & AUTOCOUNT Accounting System & E-INVOICE.
• LCCI/ Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle and oversee full set of accounts.
• Review daily sales, expenses, stock-related costs, and petty cash.
• Assist in month-end closing, audit, and financial reporting.
• Supervise junior accounts/admin staff and ensure task accuracy.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, auditors, banks, and relevant authorities.
• Support management in budgeting and cost control.
