Job summary

Big Root Legacy Group is seeking a Senior Account Executive to perform a range of accounting duties and support the Account/Finance Department. The role emphasizes accurate recording of financial transactions, ledgers, and involvement in month-end close, with oversight of junior clerks as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years relevant working experience.
• Proficient in AutoCount or similar accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Post accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage and reconcile stock records, fixed assets, and related accounts.
• Oversee petty cash and review staff expense claims for accuracy.
• Prepare and process vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
• Safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as directed by management.
