Job summary

YULLY MACHINERY & SERVICES SDN BHD in Melaka is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage financial accounting and reporting. You will oversee AR/AP, maintain ledgers, and support month- and year-end closes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and internal controls.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance and 5-7 years of relevant experience. ACCA/CIMA/CA or equivalent is highly desirable, with strong Excel skills and accounting software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel functions.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• ACC A/CIMA/CA or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely processing.
• Prepare, review and reconcile financial statements and reports.
• Monitor general ledger and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal departments for financial information.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies.
• Train junior staff on accounting practices and procedures.
• Analyze financial data for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
