Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Malaysia to manage financial reporting, general ledger, and tax support. You will coordinate month-end closing, assist in audits, and ensure statutory compliance across MPERS and the Companies Act.

The role requires a degree/diploma in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of experience, and supervisory exposure is preferred. Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Supervisory experience in accounting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations within timelines.
• Monitor general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
• Coordinate closing activities with internal departments.
• Assist in audit preparation with supporting schedules.
• Prepare data to support tax matters as required.
• Assist in secretarial matters and document preparation.
• Ensure compliance with MPERS and Companies Act.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
