Marsh Insurance Brokers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites a Senior Analyst to join the Risk Management team in Kuala Lumpur. This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office weekly, focusing on operational management, client service, and policy renewals in collaboration with insurers.

The candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive process improvements, and develop new business opportunities within existing clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
• 7–10 years in insurance brokerage or risk management.
• Must hold Basic Certificate Course in Insurance & Takaful Broking (BCCITB).
• Willing to expand clientele via business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Risk Management department.
• Manage admin functions including file management, documentation and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor department efficiency and implement process improvements.
• Maintain records, databases and systems accuracy.
• Serve as the primary client contact for inquiries and concerns.
• Handle client communications (calls, emails, site visits).
• Coordinate with insurers and partners; manage insurer inquiries.
• Ensure timely renewals and renewal documentation.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities within existing clients.
• Coordinate tender processes and respond to RFPs.
• Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; conduct trainings.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
