Job summary

Marsh Corporate in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Analyst for Accounting Operations to support day-to-day accounting, journal entry preparation, and month-end close. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with offshore teams across reporting cycles.

The successful candidate will handle ledger analyses, regulatory reporting preparation, and ad hoc financial analysis. Fresh graduates are welcome, with a strong Excel proficiency and up to 2 years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Maximum 2 years experience in Accounting/ General Ledger/ Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables transactions.
• Strong Microsoft Excel Proficiency.
• Professionally Qualified Accountants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day to day accounting functions and processes and reporting of financial information.
• Prepare and approve journal entries and offshore journal entries; consolidate statements.
• Investigate and resolve customer accounts/Insurers/Reinsurers issues and address queries from Country Finance, Broker or Underwriters.
• Analyze, maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate month end close and assist in regulatory reporting.
