Job summary

Marsh Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales - Analyst to join our Risk business, based in Pavilion Damansara. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly, with opportunities to collaborate across Marsh’s global risk practices and regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Takaful and/or General Insurance.
• Understanding of General Insurance and/or General Takaful products and client servicing processes.
• Experience in managing client relationships and providing suitable insurance solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development activities by identifying, prospecting and developing new business opportunities within the General Insurance market
• Schedule and conduct sales calls, presentations and business discussions with prospective clients to meet targets
• Leverage network and market research to build a healthy pipeline of prospective opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to support new business acquisition and retention
• Work with Team Leaders and senior colleagues during client meetings, pitches and partnerships
• Support proposals, due diligence reports and presentations with qualitative and quantitative assessments
• Develop targeted marketing and business development plans aligned with service offerings and market segments
• Attend industry events to strengthen networks and represent the company
• Understand clients’ businesses through research and benchmarking to support BD activities
• Serve as first point of contact for designated small or low-risk accounts, coordinating quotations and billing requests
• Address client concerns and service issues promptly with internal teams
• Provide regular updates to senior colleagues on client relationships and satisfaction
• Develop and maintain understanding of Marsh service offerings to enhance client servicing and grow accounts
