Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced accountant to manage full set accounts, prepare monthly management reports and financial statements, and oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, G/L and bank reconciliations.

The role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST and e-Invoice, with 3–5 years of relevant experience. You will monitor cash flow, budgets and financial performance while liaising with auditors and banks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Accounting standards, taxation, SST and e-Invoice.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Independent, analytical, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set accounts and prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, SST, e-Invoice and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks and relevant parties.
• Maintain proper accounting records and financial controls and assist with ad-hoc assignments.
