Job summary

Tunglip Precision Industry Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Finance and Accounting team. This full-time role focuses on managing financial accounting operations and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting for the organisation.

The successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions, maintain financial records, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA Malaysia or equivalent highly desirable.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of MFRS and local tax regulations.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and month/year-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and records per MFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable with timely processing.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reports and management accounts for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with tax advisors on tax matters.
• Liaise with external auditors and address audit findings.
• Implement internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
