Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled RTR professional to manage end-to-end Record to Report processes and coordinate with BPO partners for accurate month-end closings. You will review reconciliations, prepare consolidation packages, and provide analytical insights to local markets and management.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, strong analytics, and experience in process improvement, with the ability to work in a matrix, international environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end RTR processes including general ledger and group consolidation reporting.
• Execute month-end closing tasks and ensure accurate payroll posting and reconciliation.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, including those prepared by BPO.
• Coordinate closings with BPO and divisional controllers; report balance sheet reviews to stakeholders.
• Produce analytical reports for local CFOs, Zone, and Group as required.
• Monitor RTR KPIs using Group Accounting dashboards; document key controls.

• Manage end-to-end Report to Record (RTR) processes, including general ledger and group consolidation reporting
• Execute month-end closing tasks and ensure accurate payroll posting and reconciliation
• Prepare and review account reconciliations (including those prepared by BPO)
• Compile consolidation packages and perform financial analytics
• Coordinate accounting closings with BPO (e.g., Accenture) and divisional controllers
• Prepare and present balance sheet reviews to local markets and stakeholders
• Produce analytical reports for local CFOs, Zone, and Group as required
• Act as key accounting contact for assigned countries on provisions, controlling, and consolidation matters
• Monitor RTR KPIs using Group Accounting and Consolidation dashboards
• Document and review key control activities (including those prepared by BPO)
• Drive process improvement and standardization of RTR processes
• Collaborate with DEX team to enhance GL and reporting processes
• Support implementation of Group initiatives, tools, and projects
• Manage stakeholder expectations across local, zone, and group levels
• Handle ad hoc requests from BEST, local countries, Zone, and Group (with validation from Accounting Managers and Head of Accounting)
• Report directly to the Accounting Leader
