Vrscayman in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a seasoned accountant to manage general ledger activities, AP/AR processing, and monthly financial closes. You will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, and support management reporting with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

The role requires 4–6 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and professional designation preferred. We offer a stable, on-site work environment and opportunities for growth within the finance team.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA/ACCA/CMA) preferred.
• Experience with AR, AP, GL, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience using Great Plains, Applied Epic, QuickBooks, Sage or similar systems.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and GL accounts.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and adjusting journal entries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
