TD Synnex in APJ region seeks a controllership professional responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for Singapore and Malaysia. You will drive SOX compliance, ensure policy adherence, coordinate audits, and support tax and statutory processes with regional teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining general ledger integrity, producing financial statements, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting MEC/MOC close cycles with SOX and internal controls.
• Ability to prepare balance sheet and P&L analyses and financial statements.
• Experience coordinating statutory audits and tax compliance activities.

Responsabilités

• Month-End Closing (MEC) Support: assist in the preparation and execution of overall month-end closing activities.
• Journal Entries and Reconciliations: prepare manual journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• SOX Compliance and Internal Controls: support the Controller in maintaining SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Process Improvement: recommend improvements to general accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Statutory and Internal Audits: assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory audits.
• Tax Compliance Support: work with regional tax team to gather information for tax returns.
• Accounting Standards and Policies: ensure compliance with standards and maintain the general ledger.
• Financial Statements Preparation: prepare financial statements in line with accounting principles.
• Audit Support: assist with SOX and internal audit queries and year-end audit documentation.
