Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a skilled General Ledger Accountant in Malaysia (Selangor) to manage record-to-report processes, fixed asset activities, intercompany billing, and month-end close. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the GL function, and collaborate with AP/AR teams to finalize reconciliations.

The role requires a 3–5 year track record in GL/RO, SAP experience, and strong English communication. Join a global team focused on process improvements and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Solid foundation in accounting concepts and standards.
• 3–5 years in general ledger/Record-to-Report.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of record-to-report general accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Execute fixed asset capitalization, depreciation run and leasing.
• Perform intercompany billing and reconciliation during month-end close.
• Ensure bank reconciliation and posting of items with AP/AR teams.
• Complete month-end and year-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare group reporting packages for US Corporate monthly.
• Support SOX compliance and respond to GL-related audit requests.
• Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
