Takeda is seeking an Assistant Controller for the South East Asia cluster based in our Kuala Lumpur office. You will link markets with the Global Finance CoE and handle month-end close, balance sheet reviews, and financial statement preparation for multiple entities.

You will coordinate audits, ensure internal controls and compliance, and partner with FP&A, country finance and operations to deliver reliable financial data across the region.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with at least 5 years in controllership, accounting, audit, GL, R2R or financial controlling.
• Professional accounting or finance qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred or in progress.
• Demonstrated IFRS and local GAAP review capability, able to challenge centrally produced information.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close with accurate general-ledger accounting.
• Prepare balance sheet review and flux commentary for assigned entities.
• Prepare and challenge journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate audit preparation with external auditors and SOX/tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal controls.
