Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur seeks a high-calibre accounting professional to strengthen its finance team. You will manage the full set of accounts and ensure compliance with MFRS and SST requirements, supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• Must be MIA member or eligible for admission.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience; audit firm background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST, and compliance; proficient in accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and monthly close.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management accounts.
• Handle year-end audit, tax submissions, and statutory compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulators.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance.

We are looking for a high-calibre accounting professional to strengthen our finance team and support strategic decision-making. You will manage the full set of accounts and ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and SST requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and monthly closing
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and management accounts
• Handle year-end audit, tax submissions, and statutory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and SST requirements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and internal controls enhancement
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making insights

About you

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
• Must be a member of MIA or eligible for admission into the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant working experience
• Prior experience in audit firm or handling full set of accounts independently is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL,) and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
