Job summary

TOP Beraten Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Senior Advisor - Accounting and Payroll to deliver high-quality services across treasury, bookkeeping, payroll, corporate tax and audits for an international client base.

You will work with cloud accounting technology, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of transactions, while advising on tax implications and maintaining client portfolios. Based in the Kuala Lumpur office, you will interact with team members and clients daily under the Finance

Qualifications

• Preparation of full set of accounts and recording of assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses entries.
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as XERO, SAP or MS Dynamics is a plus.
• Based in KL office; reporting to Head of Accounting & Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify, consolidate and enter transactions to ensure portfolio integrity.
• Maintain general ledger, prepare trial balance and financial statements.
• Produce client payroll computations and statutory payments; advise on tax implications for clients.

As Senior Advisor - Accounting and Payroll, you will uncover exciting work featuring the latest in XERO and other cloud technology for accounting and HR finance processes. You will deliver high-quality services in the area of Treasury Services, bookkeeping & accounting, payroll services, corporate tax and audit matters for our international client base. You will ensure the integrity of accounting portfolios of our clients by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions meticulously.
You will be responsible for full management accounts of our clients, and take advisory work to the next level.

You will be based in the KL office in Menara UOA Bangsar, and correspond with team members and clients on a daily basis, delivering excellent outsourcing services while keeping up with current accounting policies and general practices.
This position is in the Finance Division, and you will be reporting to the Head of Accounting & Payroll.

In detail, this role includes being primarily in charge of accounting services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and treasury services for clients.

It requires:

• Preparation of full set of accounts and recording of assets, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintenance and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarizing financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Producing and processing client payroll computations, while maintaining checks and balances, with utilization of software.
• Advising on tax implications of accounting treatments and assisting in general tax activities of clients, including the payroll statutory payments.
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations for clients.
• Experience with accounting and financial software such as XERO, SAP, MS Dynamics is a plus.
