Job summary

City Ai Acct Sdn. Bhd. invites motivated accounting graduates to join our Mont Kiara team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work on AI-assisted bookkeeping, handle full-set accounting tasks, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for diverse clients.

Fresh graduates are welcome; guidance and mentorship will be provided. The role emphasizes teamwork, client communication, and adherence to engagement deadlines in a dynamic international firm.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent (LCCI or higher) is required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and financial statements (BS, P&L, GL, TB).
• Fluent in English and Cantonese for client communication.
• Able to work well in a team and show initiative when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and financial reporting services per engagement terms and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and client deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS and client requirements.
• Assist Managers in managing client engagements.
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates and responses to inquiries.

1. Exposure to Advanced Technologies and Accounting Processes

Engage in smart AI bookkeeping by using AI technology to help record accounts.

2. Client Service and Business Support

Provide accounting, and financial reporting services to clients in accordance with engagement terms, deadlines, and quality standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and other client deliverables.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., MFRS) and client-specific requirements.

Assist Managers and Senior Managers in managing client engagements.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their inquiries.

• Engage in smart AI bookkeeping by using AI technology to help record accounts.

• Manage the full set of accounting tasks, covering Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, Trial Balances, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledgers, Account Receivable Reports, and Account Payable Reports.

• Provide accounting, and financial reporting services to clients in accordance with engagement terms, deadlines, and quality standards.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and other client deliverables.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., MFRS) and client-specific requirements.

• Assist Managers and Senior Managers in managing client engagements.

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their inquiries.

Requirements

• LCCI and above (Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, showcasing a solid foundation in financial principles.)

• Ideally, have at least1 year of working experience in accounting, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Guidance and mentorship will be provided.

• Possess basic accounting & audit entry knowledge(For example, being familiar with the application of accounting subjects and various financial statements (such as BS, P&L, GL and TB), and being able to accurately record journal entries according to documents.)

• Fluency in Englishand Cantonese to communicate with the clients.

• Ability to work effectively within a team while also showing initiative when working independently.
