This full-time role supports our accounting and tax operations, working with senior accountants to prepare financial records and tax documentation. You will handle invoices, reconciliations, and tax compliance tasks while developing your knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting or related field, or pursuing accounting qualifications
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail in financial record-keeping
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliability and a professional approach to confidential financial information
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
• Willingness to learn and develop professional competencies in accounting and taxation

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records and ledgers

• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation
• Assisting with data entry and maintenance of accounting systems and software
• Supporting the preparation of working papers and schedules for audits and tax reviews
• Performing general administrative duties to support the accounting and tax teams

About the role
