Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to handle full-set accounts, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities, assist management in financial analysis and decision‑making, and supervise a small accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full-set accounts and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a small team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation.
