Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accountant to maintain the full set of company accounting records in line with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.

You will assist in monthly management reporting, manage treasury to ensure cash flow, liaise with auditors and tax agents, and help prepare audit reports and tax computations. Strong English, MS Office and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate/diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; 2–3 years in property development preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• High integrity, initiative, results-oriented, able to work under pressure.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounting records per accounting standards and regulations.
• Produce monthly management reports including audit and tax schedules, cash flow, income statement, and balance sheet.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and treasury, ensuring sufficient cash flow for expenses.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents for annual audit and tax filing documentation.
• Assist in drafting the audit report.
• Assist in preparing tax computations.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
