Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team at Cheng, Melaka on a full-time basis. You will handle full set accounts, daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting matters.

The ideal candidate has Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Must have full set of accounts experience including general ledger and month-end closing.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
• Record and reconcile daily sales, cash, card, e-wallet and other payments.
• Perform daily cash and sales reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage supplier invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and reconcile sales and inventory transactions; assist with stocktakes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheets and other reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare documents for audit, tax and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, auditors, tax agents, banks and others as needed.
