Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an added advantage.
• 4–6 years of AR/credit control experience.
• 1–2 years in supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes and reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle).
• Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Detail-oriented with high integrity; able to work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and review daily AR transactions, ensuring accuracy in the accounting system.
• Monitor customer billing, receipts, and allocations to ensure completeness.
• Review and approve credit notes and adjustments.
• Ensure prompt and accurate bank reconciliation for receipts.
• Monitor e-Invoicing compliance with Malaysian regulations.
• Lead credit control activities including monitoring credit limits.
• Review AR aging and drive collection strategies to reduce overdue balances.
• Authorize account blocking/unblocking based on credit risk.
• Manage escalation of delinquent accounts and recovery actions.
• Issuance of reminder letters and follow-up on overdue receivables.
• Liaise with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate customer master data.
• Supervise and coach AR team; provide training.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing related to AR.
• Prepare AR aging analysis and management summaries.
• Participate in audits and proper documentation.

• Oversee and review daily AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely recording in the accounting system
• Monitor customer billing, receipts, and allocation processes to ensure completeness
• Review and approve credit notes and adjustments entries
• Ensure prompt and accurate bank reconciliation for incoming receipts
• Monitor e-Invoicing compliance in line with Malaysian regulatory requirements

2. Credit Control & Collections

• Lead credit control activities including monitoring of customer credit limits and payment terms
• Review AR aging reports and drive collection strategies to reduce overdue balances
• Authorize account blocking/unblocking based on credit risk and overdue status
• Manage escalation of delinquent accounts and coordinate recovery actions
• Issuance of reminder letters and follow-up on overdue receivables
• Liaise with Sales and Operations to resolve billing disputes and collection issues
• Manage key customer accounts and ensure effective handling of B2B portals
• Maintain accurate customer master data in the system
• Supervise, guide, and review the work of AR team members
• Provide training and coaching to enhance team capabilities
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and internal controls
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance against KPIs (if there is any KPI being set)
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR
• Prepare AR aging analysis and any other reports and management summaries
• Participate in audit processes and ensure proper documentation

Work Experience & Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Part Professional Qualification: ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an added advantage
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant AR / credit control experience
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior role preferred
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, credit control, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Had exposure on Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDetail-oriented with high level of integrity
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
