DPS Resources Berhad, Melaka, is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation, and to prepare monthly financial reports and schedules.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and accounting software skills. Mandarin/Chinese communication is essential for business operations.

About you

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in engineering, construction or property development

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese due to business requirements

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently

For our furniture division, our integrated manufacturing plant in Melaka spans over 400,000 sq. ft and sits on a 15-acre land, with a total production capacity of more than 225,000 sets of furniture per annum. Our workforce is estimated to be approximately 600 people. We were one of the largest manufacturers of Wood-based products and Chair products in Malaysia. We serve major customers across the U.S. and Europe.
