Job summary

NORAND SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee full-set accounts and provide monthly management reporting across operations, sales, and project teams.

You will prepare financial statements, manage month-end close, monitor cash flow, handle tax compliance, payroll and commissions, and provide strategic financial insights to support management decisions. 3–5 years’ experience and proficiency with SQL Accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years full-set accounting experience.
• Experience handling commission-based payroll is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting System.
• Strong analytical mindset & high attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounts and monthly management reporting
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensure timely month-end closing
• Monitor receivables & payables to maintain healthy cash flow
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
• Identify discrepancies and abnormal transactions proactively
• Handle tax estimation, filing, and compliance matters
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards & statutory regulations
• Assist in audit documentation and tax queries
• Process payroll accurately and in compliance with employment laws
• Manage statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB)
• Oversee commission tracking system for sales team
• Prepare commission and incentive payout reports
• Provide financial insights to management
• Assist in improving internal financial SOPs
