Job summary

Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Penang Sdn. Bhd. is expanding at the Batu Kawan site to support advanced sensor and semiconductor testing.

The Process and Equipment Engineer will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults in PCBs and measurement electronics, and work with suppliers to optimise equipment performance and yield. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and hands-on ability to repair and calibrate high-precision equipment, with cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic).
Able to analyse and repair PCB and equipment.
Able to work in a team for transferring technical know-how.
Able to perform technical discussions with equipment suppliers and engineering.
Understand correlations between quality, cost and delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance according to the maintenance plan on machines and calibration.
Investigate equipment downtime and carry out mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs.
Identify and repair faults on measurement boards and PCBs.
Align equipment mechanically and electrically per supplier specs.
Adapt circuit diagrams per engineering specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers on scheduling and technical discussions.
Collaborate with engineering to reduce failures, improve quality and output, and lower costs.
Analyze carrier failures and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
