Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead FCM mechanical systems design, installation, maintenance and upgrades. You will drive safety compliance, project management, RFQ scoping, and KPI reporting to ensure zero downtime and safe operations in a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree and 3–5 years of experience, with hands-on knowledge of LN2, compressed air and vacuum systems, and strong collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 3–5 years of facility engineering experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
• Knowledge of LN2, compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Experience in facility improvement projects and PM.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and update work instructions and SOPs for mechanical systems.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory requirements for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate mechanical project management with cost control and on-time delivery.
• Develop KPI and track system uptime, PM completion and spare parts.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure HSE compliance.
