Job summary
Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, a leading global technology company, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance per plan on semiconductor test equipment and to analyze downtime causes. You will repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, localize faults on boards, and align systems according to supplier specs.
Work involves coordinating with equipment suppliers, supporting process improvements, and ensuring spare parts availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in relevant engineering functions.
- Experience with Cohu NY32 Loader & Tape and Reel machines is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance according to maintenance plan on machine and calibration.
- Analyze downtime reasons of the equipment and perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
- Localize failures on measurement boards, PCBs and repair boards.
- Perform mechanical, electrical alignment of equipment per supplier specification.
- Adapt circuit diagrams according to engineering specification.
- Serve as first contact with equipment suppliers and coordinate questions and due dates.
- Develop measures to reduce failures, improve quality/output, and reduce costs with engineering.
