Job summary

TF-AMD Penang in Malaysia seeks engineers with strong product development backgrounds to drive sustaining activities, yield improvements and cost reductions. The role involves leading NPI and ramp to volume manufacturing, and coordinating with test, design, quality and failure analysis teams.

You will oversee EVT/DVT activities, generate buyoff units, and manage project requirements and reviews while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or above.
  • 4-8 years of industrial experience in equipment development or equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and project management.
  • Strong technical leadership and ability to manage product ramp and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sustaining activities to improve yield, test time, quality and costs.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) and ramp to volume manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality and Failure Analysis on excursions and MRB.
  • Oversee EVT/DVT and test program readiness for ramp.
  • Provide project leadership and ensure reviews/approvals.
  • Define and review project requirements.
  • Coordinate resources and reviews with managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
