Job summary

Bosch Group in Malaysia seeks a mechanical engineering professional to support FCM mechanical systems, ensuring safe design, installation, testing and ongoing maintenance. You will drive project management, coordinate contractors, and improve system reliability while meeting local safety standards.

Role emphasizes uptime, KPI tracking, PM scheduling and energy conservation, with a collaborative, international team in a fast-growing semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant facility engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or semiconductor facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Liquid Nitrogen (LN₂), compressed air and vacuum systems, with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in facility improvement projects, preventive maintenance, system performance monitoring and vendor coordination.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage mechanical system design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Bosch safety requirements and local regulations.
• Lead FCM mechanical project management with quality, cost control and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure health, safety and environmental obligations.
• Develop and monitor mechanical system KPI, uptime, PM completion, capacity, and cost.
• Plan spare parts and manage energy conservation projects for mechanical systems.
