Scimmtrol Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assembly Engineer to lead the build and integration of large-scale semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom. You will plan the three major sections, coordinate global supplier equipment, and perform comprehensive tests at multiple stages.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in equipment assembly or process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with machine assembly, integration and testing.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and ability to read drawings/schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; English and Mandarin a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the assembly process for large-scale semiconductor equipment from section build-up to final integration and testing.
• Develop, document and improve assembly procedures, work instructions and process flows.
• Plan and guide assembly of three major sections and their integration into one unit.
• Coordinate installation and positioning of equipment from international suppliers.
• Conduct power-on, motion and software tests at section and machine levels.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues and drive root-cause actions.
• Ensure cleanroom protocols, ESD control and safety standards are followed.
• Train and provide technical guidance to assembly technicians.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production and Warehouse to meet schedules and quality targets.
