Job summary

Scimmtrol Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day assembly activities on rotating day/night shifts within a cleanroom environment. You will ensure output, quality, and safety targets are met while coordinating with engineering, quality, and warehouse teams.

The role requires a diploma or degree in engineering, at least 3 years of production experience with 1 year in supervision, and strong leadership and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' production experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of assembly technicians and operators on each shift.
• Monitor progress against the production schedule for section assembly, machine integration and testing.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to resolve technical issues and test failures promptly.
• Work with Warehouse to ensure timely availability of components and materials.
• Conduct shift handovers and prepare daily production and manpower reports.
• Train, coach and evaluate team members and drive productivity and quality improvements.
