Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer for Semiconductor & Automation Solutions to drive revenue growth across regional hubs by delivering high-impact automation and testing solutions to major clients.

You will act as a technical advisor, conduct product demonstrations, negotiate terms, and build lasting relationships with tier-1 manufacturers while enjoying a 5-day work week and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of proven B2B sales experience within semiconductor materials, capital equipment, or automation.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor assembly, testing processes, wafer handling, or precision machinery.
• Strong commercial negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally to support client operations and business engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales expansion and manage full commercial cycles for precision equipment and automated product lines
• Conduct technical consultations, product demonstrations, and application support for client manufacturing processes
• Negotiate commercial terms, prepare quotations, and manage project delivery timelines with internal cross-functional teams
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across regional manufacturing accounts
• Identify emerging market opportunities and execute strategic plans to achieve regional sales targets
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts, client progress reports, and market feedback to senior leadership
