Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer for semiconductor testing & inspection systems. You will manage tier-1 MNC accounts, drive full commercial cycles, and provide technical demonstrations to client floors. Travel regionally is expected, and you will report to senior leadership.

The role requires an engineering degree and 2+ years of B2B sales in semiconductor materials, capital equipment, or industrial automation, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in semiconductor materials, capital equipment, or industrial automation.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor assembly, test processes, wafer handling, or precision machinery.
• Excellent negotiation and client presentation skills with willingness to travel regionally for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales expansion and oversee full commercial cycles for high-precision inspection equipment and automated lines.
• Provide technical consultations, live equipment demonstrations, and application support for client manufacturing floors.
• Prepare commercial quotes, negotiate contract terms, and align delivery schedules with internal engineering teams.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key procurement and engineering decision-makers.
• Track market trends, identify new account opportunities, and present accurate sales forecasts to leadership.
