Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a Manager of Security Operations to lead daily IT security operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements across security controls. The role requires hands-on management of security technologies and collaboration with IT and business units to safeguard critical infrastructure and data assets.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in IT security, 3–5 years in supervisory roles, and relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security roles.
• 3–5 years in a dedicated security operations supervisory or management capacity.
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, WAF, IPS/IDS, Endpoint Security, NAC, and SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations and ensure optimal performance of security components.
• Lead and develop a high-performing security operations team.
• Collaborate with IT, risk, and business units to proactively address security concerns.
• Prepare and present regular security operations reports and dashboards to senior management.
• Drive continuous service improvement through automation and orchestration.
