Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Technical Governance Manager specializing in Network Security Controls to lead policy, compliance, and risk management for perimeter defenses. You will ensure that firewall rules, WAFs, proxies, VPNs, and NAC controls align with banking regulations and internal standards.

Responsibilities include framework alignment, policy engineering, audit readiness, and KRIs reporting, with emphasis on documented, repeatable security processes across all network security devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, risk, or IT audit.
• Deep understanding of perimeter and application security.
• Experience auditing or defining policies in Cisco ISE for enterprise WiFi.
• Familiar with NSPM tools for rule optimization and compliance mapping.
• Clear banking regulatory knowledge related to network security.

Responsibilities

• Align security standards with NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks.
• Review and update policies for WAFs, proxies, VPNs, and NAC systems.
• Lead audits and remediation of security findings and vulnerabilities.
• Report KRIs on control effectiveness to management.
• Govern WAF, VPN, NAC, and firewall rule lifecycles and approvals.
