Job summary

First Digital is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to strengthen security across identity, endpoints, network, and cloud services. You will work on Microsoft 365 and Fortinet infrastructure while supporting broader IT service and asset management initiatives.

The role requires hands-on security operations experience, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive security improvements in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT security operations or related security role.
• Hands-on with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 security management.
• Fortinet firewalls or similar NGFW experience preferred.
• Experience with security incident response and remediation.
• Understanding IAM concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and end-user support.
• Know-how in asset lifecycle and regulatory standards (GDPR/ISO27001).
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and network.
• Excellent communicator with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security-related hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support identity and access management, focusing on Azure AD.
• Collaborate with teams to implement security procedures across IT apps.
• Assist security-focused IT projects from design to implementation.
• Provide IT service management with a security focus.
• Assist IT asset management and procurement processes.
• Promote cyber security awareness among staff.
• Manage security settings in Microsoft 365 (email quarantine, conditional access).
• Assist with Fortinet firewall configuration, monitoring and tuning.
• Support incident response investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist governance/compliance across Microsoft 365 and networks.
