Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Security Officer to patrol factory premises, monitor CCTV and access doors, and ensure compliance with security SOPs. The role includes recording movements of employees, visitors, vendors, and cargo, and reporting any incidents promptly.

You will also assist during emergencies and maintain orderly store and duty records. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in security, with SPm or higher education.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Field for a minimum of 2 years.
• Able to monitor and report incidents and emergencies.
• Good observational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and check factory premises between 7.00am to 7.00pm.
• Record movement of personnel and property in respective logs.
• Record late-coming employees and coordinate transportation during emergencies.
• Monitor Fire System and report malfunctions to Facility.
• Verify Security Gate Pass and items at entrances 1 and 2.

To enforce security procedures and policies

Protect and prevent the Company property from lost, damage or destruction

Investigate and report any suspected incidences which may be detrimental to the company or against the security policies.

Key Duties

1.Patrol and check factory premises including fencing, building, and company property between 7.00am to 7.00pm

2. Record movement of employees, visitors and vendors, cargo, vehicles and company property in and out of company premises in respective record books.

3.Record late-coming employees.

4. Manage transportation and record in-coming & out-going factory bus/van Coordinate transportation during emergencies.

5.Check / standby at store during import/export cargo; record the situation in “Station Diary”

6.Do clocking after working hours between 7.00pm and 6.00am and record in “Station Diary”

7.Ensure the guard house is always clean and tidy

8.Answer phone calls during work hours, after work hours, on weekends and public holidays.

9.Ensure employees wear uniforms, badges and follow Company SOP.

10.Ensure employees park their vehicles properly and check/spot/scan on employees at entrance 1 & 2 during went back time.

11.Monitoring Fire System for any Fire Warning and report to Facility if any malfunction

12.To ensure PIC have standby when contractors are working and ensure they follow EHS Procedure, do monitor time to time.

13.Receive urgent goods after working hours when store personnel are not available

14.Standby at scrap store during collection by contractor and keep record.

15. Monitoring CCTV and Access Door system, ensure system are functioning as normal and report to respective Department if any malfunction.

16.Attend emergency case and report

17. Received TMS from employees and do submission.

18.Hand over and take over duties & update task and situation.

19. Attend meeting, training: ERT, HR, Safety, Security etc...

20. Verify the Security Gate Pass & lorry, checking are accordingly the item taken at entrance 1,2 and store.

AS REQUIRED

Firefighting and call Bomba during fire outbreak; inform Security Section Head

Give first aid during emergency and call ambulance and record in “Station Diary”

Perform any other duties as directed from time to time
