Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Security Supervisor to safeguard IFX assets and ensure adherence to company rules on site. The role includes monitoring employee conduct, maintaining CCTV and access control systems, and supervising security staff to perform tasks per directive.

Responsibilities cover incident response, confidentiality, and timely reporting to the Operations Manager. A Diploma in Business Admin or related field with 3 years in security is required; 12-hour rotating

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related security experience.
• Basic knowledge in Security System Management (CCTV, Card Access, Intrusion Alarm and Metal Detectors).
• Basic knowledge in Fire Alarm System Management.
• PC literate.
• Willing to work 12 hours rotating Shift (Day & Night).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all employees observe IFX Rules & Regulations on premises.
• Safeguard IFX assets (employees/properties) from misconduct or criminal activities.
• Maintain a professional code of ethics aligned with IFX BCG.
• Supervise subordinates and ensure security tasks are executed per directive.
• Conduct preliminary action on security risks and apply containment actions.
• Timely address complaints/reports and update immediate superior.
• Ensure all security systems and hardware function; report failures.
• Communicate departmental instructions to subordinates clearly.
• Treat all Security matters confidentially and do not disclose information without approval from the Operation Manager.
• Support Security Executives in assigned tasks.
• Respond to and execute all requirements of IFX Emergency Response Procedure.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Monitor/ensure all employees observe and abide IFX Rules & Regulations whilst in the premises


• Safeguard IFX assets (employees/properties) from any misconduct or criminal activities


• Maintain a professional code of ethics in line with IFX BCG


• Supervise subordinates and ensure all security tasks executed as per directive


• Conduct preliminary action on any arising security risk situation and apply containment action


• Timely address any complaints/reports received and update immediate superior


• Ensure all security system and hardware are functioning and report failure immediately.


• Effectively communicate with all Department instructions and directives to their subordinate


• Treat all Security matters in a highly confidential manner & shall not disclose any information without prior approval from the Operation Manager


• To support the Security Executives in any given tasks


• To response and execute all requirements of IFX Emergency Response Procedure

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Diploma in Business Admin or related field.


• Previous experience required - Minimal 3 years in related field.


• Basic knowledge in Security System Management (CCTV, Card Access, Intrusion Alarm and Metal Detectors)


• Basic knowledge in Fire Alarm System Management


• PC literate


• Willing to work 12 hours rotating Shift (Day & Night)


• Experience in related Security Admin field is an added advantage.
