Job summary

CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Associate in Securities Operations to support regional settlement activities across equities markets. The role involves processing settlements, payments, and trade confirmations while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

You will handle daily settlements, respond to client inquiries, and help improve process efficiency. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and knowledge in settlement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Background in settlement, contract processing and industry knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Involve in all aspects of settlement for Equities Operations especially SGX & Foreign markets.
• Prepare payments related to daily settlement to clients or brokers.
• Assist team leader/section head to ensure timely and efficient settlement for daily transaction.
• Attend to clients’ queries relating to settlement and work closely with stakeholders within CGSI.
• Execute daily generations of contracts and contra.
• Manage daily trade reconciliations to ensure stocks, quantity and settlement amount match with broker and client confirmations.
• Create new stocks, product codes and charges.
• Append/insert new trades for both institutional and retail.
• Update/create commission based on requests from retail management team and for institutional clients.
