Job summary

BID Operations in Kuala Lumpur seeks a proactive Settlement Officer to ensure accurate daily settlement activities, reconcile accounts, and maintain financial records. You will assist with payment processing with third-party providers and respond to customer cases while preparing remittances.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, experience in settlement or reconciliation, and strong communication with PSPs, banks, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in settlement or reconciliation is preferred.
• Familiarity with payment methods and PSP interactions is a plus.
• Strong numerical accuracy and data integrity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process client deposits and withdrawals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow up on pending, delayed, rejected, or failed settlement transactions with internal teams and external PSPs.
• Perform daily reconciliation across CRM records, PSP portals, bank statements, digital wallet platforms, and internal settlement reports.
• Track PSP balances and escalate funding shortages or abnormal movements.
• Support settlement execution across multiple payment methods including fiat and digital payments.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Communicate with PSPs, banks, operations, finance, and customer support as needed.
• Maintain settlement records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with PSP onboarding, testing, and workflow improvements.
• Support weekend and extended-hour coverage per roster requirements.
• Escalate high-risk or abnormal settlement cases per SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and risk controls in settlement activities.
