Job summary

RBC is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to support the Securities Settlements and Client Services operations in Malaysia. You will verify payments, settle trades, and ensure adherence to established procedures while maintaining strong lines of communication with Front Office and Global BCS teams.

The role requires 1–3 years of operations experience, basic SWIFT/RTPS knowledge, and a proactive approach to risk and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of operations experience.
• Basic working knowledge of SWIFT and Real Time Payment Systems.
• Understanding of operational risk, controls and frameworks.
• Ability to analyze business processes.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and settle Securities Settlements trades.
• Ensure transactions comply with bank rules, standing orders, circulars and procedures.
• Complete daily processing and settlement tasks accurately and timely.
• Perform intra-day and end-of-day checks and address issues or escalate as needed.
• Provide relief support across teams and communicate with Front Office and Global BCS colleagues.
